Performance and Off-Roading Features

The XRT gives an extra inch of ground clearance for a total of 7 inches. You’ll also have steeper departure and approach angles compared to the base model. The IONIQ 5 XRT incorporates black 18-inch wheels with all-terrain tires. The standard long-range battery in this model allows you to travel up to 280 miles on a full charge, and it provides the equivalent of up to 94 combined city and highway miles per gallon.

This model charges from 10 to 80% in just 20 minutes with a fast charger, and it features a fuel-saving regenerative braking system. The IONIQ 5 XRT has dual motors that deliver 320 horsepower and standard all-wheel drive. You can also take advantage of selectable Sand, Mud, and Snow modes.

Exterior Design

The IONIQ 5 XRT stands out from the rest of the lineup with exclusive design features. The front and rear bumpers have a digital camouflage finish. Front red tow hooks can handle up to 5,834 pounds. This trim shows off black side sills, a unique rear spoiler design, blacked-out mirrors, badges, and window surrounds. Choose from model-exclusive Cosmic Blue Pearl and Ultimate Red finishes. The XRT also comes with LED projector headlights.

Infotainment Tech

The refreshed IONIQ 5 has dual 12.3-inch infotainment screens with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. You’ll also have standard wireless charging, navigation, voice recognition, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and a six-speaker stereo with satellite and HD radio in the XRT model. The standard Hyundai Digital Key 2 system provides ​access to your vehicle with your compatible device.

Cabin Space and Amenities

Inside the XRT, you’ll notice exclusive patterned leatherette upholstery, a black headliner, and logo seatbacks and all-weather floor mats. It has standard heated and ventilated power-adjustable front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, ambient lighting, a heated steering wheel, and heated rear seats.

The hands-free power liftgate makes it easy to access the generous cargo space. This model also adds a convenient sliding center console for flexible small-item storage.

Driver Assistance and Safety 

The IONIQ 5 incorporates many high-tech driver assistance features like adaptive cruise control, blind-spot collision avoidance assist, driver attention warning, and blind-spot collision warning. Forward, reverse, and side parking distance warnings and the Remote Smart Parking Assist 2 system are also included in the XRT trim.
