Power and Performance

The Tucson features a 187-horsepower engine that provides 178 pound-feet of torque. It comes with front-wheel or all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission. You’ll get up to 30 highway miles per gallon with the FWD powertrain, which is impressive for a small crossover.
With the right equipment, the Tucson can tow up to 2,000 pounds. It has standard pre-trailer wiring and an optional tow hitch. All-new Baby Mode quiets the throttle response to avoid waking little ones. This model also has several selectable drive modes, and paddle shifters are available as an upgrade. Choose from either 17-inch or 18-inch wheels.
Interior Space and Amenities
The roomy Tucson gives you class-leading cargo space of just over 41 cubic feet in the rear and more than 80 cubic feet when you fold down the second row. Most models come with a hands-free power liftgate, and you can add optional roof side rails.
Standard conveniences include proximity keyless entry and push-button start. Higher Tucson trims add heated, ventilated power-adjustable front seats, heated rear seats, synthetic leather upholstery, a sunroof, ambient interior lighting, and leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob. The cabin has a standard acoustic laminated windshield and optional rear privacy glass.
Infotainment Tech
A standard 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen is new for 2025. The base Tucson also comes with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 4.2-inch driver display, four USB ports, and a six-speaker stereo with HD and satellite radio.
Tech upgrades include built-in navigation and a 12.3-inch version of the driver display. You can also amp up your Tucson with an optional 10-speaker Bose audio system and add the digital key app for smartphone-based access and remote start.
Safety and Driver Assistance
The Tucson is a Top Safety Pick of the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. Advanced driver assistance tech across the lineup includes automatic high beams, driver attention alert, stop-and-go adaptive cruise control, pedestrian and cyclist detection, forward automatic emergency braking, and forward collision warning. Standard LED daytime running lights optimize your visibility.
You can incorporate enhancements like forward attention warning, a head-up display, enhanced adaptive cruise control with lane centering, reverse automatic emergency braking, rain-sensing windshield wipers, a blind-spot camera, and the Highway Driving Assist partially autonomous driving system.
The Tucson was named 2025’s best compact SUV for the money by US News and World Report, and it comes in five outstanding trims. Visit Randy Wise Hyundai in Flint, MI to test drive this exciting new update today.
