Buyers can choose from seven trims. LED headlights and daytime running lights are standard on all models, including the entry-level SE. The SEL replaces the SE's bulb-type taillights with LEDs and adds silver roof rails for versatility. Auto-dimming side mirrors, a unique dark finish grille, and black roof rails give the XRT a rugged look. This model is available exclusively in Abyss Black Pearl, Hyper White, and Steel Graphite. The SEL Premium shares many of the SEL's exterior styling elements but swaps out the lower trim's 18-inch alloys for 20-inch wheels. These carry over to the Limited, distinguishable by its chrome door garnish. Upscale features such as puddle lights, premium rear accent lighting, and a striking satin chrome grille characterize the Calligraphy, available in the all-new Robust Emerald color. Only available in black or white, the top-tier Calligraphy Night Edition stands out with its trim-exclusive rear badging, wheels, and grille.

All models in the 2025 PALISADE lineup feature a 3.8-liter V-6 with 291 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque. The engine uses an eight-speed SHIFTRONIC automatic transmission with shift-by-wire technology to deliver smooth acceleration and confident passing power. Front-wheel drive is standard on all but the Calligraphy Night edition, which is offered exclusively with Hyundai's HTRAC all-wheel drive. This system is optional on the other models.

The available HTRAC AWD system uses advanced technology to monitor traction and distribute power to the front and rear axles as needed. Four drive modes — Comfort, Eco, Sport, and Smart — allow drivers to tailor the SUV's performance to their preferences and conditions. AWD models add a Tow mode. MacPherson strut front and independent multilink rear suspensions are standard. When properly equipped, the Palisade has a maximum towing capacity of 5,000 pounds, and all trims include trailer sway control.

The Palisade 's cabin is practical and features premium amenities. A 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system provides seamless access to navigation, entertainment, and vehicle settings. Dynamic voice recognition responds to natural language commands for hands-free operation. SEL Premium and higher trim levels have an in-car intercom system that makes communication between rows effortless. The SUV accommodates seven or eight passengers, with second-row captain's chairs standard on most trims. Seating surfaces range from cloth in the SE to Nappa leather seating surfaces in the Calligraphy and Calligraphy Night. The Palisade has 18 cubic feet of cargo space behind the third row, 45.8 cubic feet behind the second, and 86.4 cubic feet with both rear rows folded. Proximity key entry provides easy access, and Wi-Fi hotspot capability keeps passengers connected.

SmartSense safety and driver-assist technologies provide optimal passenger protection. Standard features include forward collision-avoidance assist with car/pedestrian/cyclist detection, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot collision warning, and rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist. Hyundai's Highway Driving Assist II system, available on higher trims, provides semiautonomous driving capability on divided highways. It maintains safe distances from surrounding vehicles while keeping the SUV centered in its lane. A 360-degree surround-view monitor, standard on the Limited and above, improves visibility when maneuvering in tight spaces.
